"An active hideout busted and warlike stores - UBGL with grenades, GPS, AK magazine and administrative stores recovered," it said.
The joint operation is still underway, it added.
The development comes after two terrorists and a central reserve police force (CRPF) trooper were killed earlier today in an encounter in Bandzoo village of Pulwama district.

"Following specific information about the presence of militants in Bandzoo village, security forces including the local police, Rashtriya Rifles and the CRPF started a cordon and search operation during which an encounter started," the police said.
While the two terrorists were killed in the encounter, a CRPF jawan sustained critical injuries and later succumbed.
