Shimla: Firefighters put out fire outbreak near Tara hall

The fire broke out at a Hotel near the Tara hall in Shimla late Wednesday night. The fire was doused and no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Shimla: A massive fire broke out at Kapital Hotel near Tara Hall late on Wednesday night.

According to reports, the incident took place at around 11.20 pm.

Five fire tender units and around 40 Fire brigade officials swung into action and doused the fire. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Authorities are yet to ascertain the cause of the fire.

''Surrounding hotels and houses were saved from the fire. The fire was brought under control nearly after one hour. Personnel of the three stations were hailed as soon as the fire was reported. No loss of life has been reported. The cause of the fire is not yet known,'' said Dharmchand Sharma, Chief Fire Officer.
