Hisar: Eighteen months old Nadim who was rescued after a 48-hour long operation from a borewell in Haryana's Hisar district was shifted to a private hospital on Saturday as his health condition deteriorated in Agroha Medical College.
Initially, Nadim got admitted to the Agroha Medical College for treatment after his rescue, but his health condition deteriorated late at night.
Consequently, he was referred to a private hospital due to lack of adequate facilities in the government-run hospital.
Nadim fell into the 60-foot deep borewell while playing near his house in Balsamand village in Hisar.
Later, a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Army experts, police and administration launched a massive rescue operation to save the kid.
Authorities had started digging a parallel well about 20-feet away from the borewell and subsequently created a tunnel to bring out the child safely.
As they reached close to the child, digging by machines was stopped and was the rescue operation was carried out manually.
