Could not have a better Diwali: Ajay Chautala
Ajay Chautala, father of Haryana Dy CM Dushyant Chautala, said that there could not have been a better Diwali than this, as BJP-JJP form the government in Haryana.
"What can be a better occasion for a father, than this? Congress can say anything they want to but this government will go on for 5 years and work for the development of Haryana," he said.

Khattar begins his second innings
Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Haryana where the BJP formed a government, state's first non-Congress government at the helm for the second consecutive term.
The saffron party formed the government in alliance with the newly formed Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) led by Dushyant Chautala, who took oath as Khattar's deputy.
Khattar, 65, will be heading the second Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of the state, which was formed on November 1, 1966. A low-profile organisational man with an active RSS background, Khattar was chosen by the newly-elected BJP legislators as their leader at a meeting here on Saturday.
"My government will be transparent," Khattar told the media ahead of taking the oath.
Five-time Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, whose party Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) had an alliance with BJP's rival Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) during the assembly elections despite being an NDA partner, attended the ceremony along with son and Member of Parliament Sukhbir Badal
Earlier, the BJP, which won 40 seats and was six short of a majority in the 90-member Assembly, announced an alliance with the JJP led by Dushyant Chautala, a great grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal.

Nadda, CMs of BJP-ruled states, other leaders likely to attend the swearing-in
BJP working president J P Nadda, Union ministers and the chief ministers of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Manohar Lal Khattar as the Haryana chief minister here on Sunday, party sources said. Some BJP MPs will also attend the event at the Haryana Raj Bhawan in the afternoon.
JJP leader Dushyant Chautala will take oath as the deputy chief minister. His father Ajay Chautala and mother Naina Chautala are also likely to attend the ceremony.
Ajay Chautala, lodged in the Tihar Jail in Delhi after his conviction in a teachers' recruitment scam, has been granted furlough for two weeks. He is scheduled to leave the Tihar Jail on Sunday.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur are among chief ministers of BJP-ruled states who are expected to attend the ceremony, the sources said.
In his first term, Khattar had taken oath on October 26, 2014, which was attended by a galaxy of leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, L K Advani, Amit Shah, Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of several BJP-ruled states, besides Akali Dal veteran Parkash Singh Badal.
In a departure from the past, the oath-taking function in 2014 was held at Panchkula instead of Chandigarh, the common capital of both Haryana and Punjab.

Khattar returns as Haryana CM; Dushyant Chautala becomes Dy CM
Chandigarh: Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya invited the BJP to form the next government in the state on Saturday, the party's chief minister-elect Manohar Lal Khattar said here.
The announcement came after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staked claim to form the government in Haryana with the support of the Dushyant Chautala-led Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Sunday.
"The Haryana governor has invited us to form the government on Sunday," Khattar said. He added that the oath-taking ceremony will take place at 2.15 pm on Sunday, the day Diwali will be celebrated across the country. Khattar said Chautala would take oath as the deputy chief minister.
He added that a total of 57 MLAs -- 40 of the BJP, 10 of the JJP and seven Independents -- staked claim before the governor for forming the government in Haryana.
"The governor accepted it and invited us to form the government on Sunday," Khattar said.
Earlier, Khattar and his cabinet colleagues submitted their resignations to the governor, which were accepted. The governor asked Khattar to continue as the interim chief minister till the new government took over.
Khattar said some ministers would take oath on Sunday. He, however, did not specify the number. In the 90-member Haryana Assembly, a minimum strength of 46 MLAs is required to form the government.
