Jhajjar: In Haryana's Jhajjar district, a seven-year-old boy, who was declared dead by the doctors in Delhi, returned home alive. Had it not been for the boy's grandmother, who insisted on seeing him for one last time, and his mother not giving up hope, the innocent boy would perhaps not have seen the light of the day.
Kunal Sharma, grandson of Vijay Sharma, a resident of Qila locality, was admitted to a hospital in Delhi due to typhoid and was later declared dead by the doctors. Following this, his parents took his mortal remains to their residence in Bahadurgarh for the last rites. They had decided that Kunal's last rites will be held at their maternal uncle's house.

It was here that Kunal's grandmother insisted on seeing his face for one last time. Meanwhile, Kunal's mother Jhanvi and aunt Annu, in their grief, shook his body. Surprisingly, they sensed a movement, leaving everyone stunned.
Immediately, Hitesh, Kunal's father, took him out of the body bag and initiated a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, while another person began a primary cardiopulmonary therapy. Kunal was then admitted to a private hospital in Rohtak where the doctors said that he had 15 per cent chances of survival. The boy gradually started recovering and was later discharged from the hospital.
