New Delhi: After facing a strong defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP leader R P Singh has put forward the demand to transform Delhi into a place like London in terms of its facilties.
Right after his party's defeat, he has now begun to bug AAP and Congress on the same issue.
Talking to ETV Bharat, he said: "The Congress party supported the AAP in Delhi elections, but it will still be a challenge for AAP to make Delhi alike London in terms of facilities provided to the people."
Singh has also challenged Arvind Kejriwal to taste the water being provided in the taps of households in various constituencies by his government.
Singh asserted, "If the people are happy with dirty water in their taps, it is their wish. I will wait for the next 5 years, keeping an eye on the AAP government and its endeavours to convert Delhi into a smart city."
Taking a jibe at Congress he asserted, "Congress extended its support to AAP only with the agenda to defeat BJP. But I am not worried about that."
"It is surprising to me that the AAP government won a majority in the state while Congress could not win a single seat. And it is still not aware of its loss," he added.
