New Delhi: Amidst a political turmoil in the Congress party in Jharkhand, a joint meeting was held in Delhi on Saturday. State Congress president Ajoy Kumar along with General Secretary K C Venugopal were also present at the meeting.
Congress leaders of the state demand the immediate removal of Ajoy Kumar which has led to instability in the party. Soon after the meeting, MP Kameshwar Baitha said that it is directed that leaders get ready for State elections and let the issue pass. Leaders were assured in the meeting that their issues will be resolved but first they must work hard for the upcoming elections.
Baitha also said that he has no issue with Ajoy Kumar and would work under his leadership in the party.
Previously, Baitha had slammed Kumar for not giving him Lok Sabha ticket.
