Greater Noida: In a shocking incident, the video of a man assaulting his wife has gone viral. The visuals were recovered from a CCTV camera installed at his house at Surajpur's Udyog Vihar colony here.
The accused identified as Ramchandra has been arrested.
Reportedly, since 2002 Ramchandra was suffering loss in his business and was mentally disturbed. He also insisted to opt for black magic to change his fortune, to which his wife opposed.
Following which, Ramchandra used to assault his wife.
After many such repeated incidents, the people in the vicinity informed the accused's son about the fights happening at his house, during his absence.
Ramchandra's son initially did not trust the neighbours and so he installed a CCTV camera at his house to confirm it.
He later recovered footages in which his father was seen beating his mother with a wooden stick.
A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the accused.
