New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested two foreign nationals with heroin worth Rs 22 crore from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Saturday.
The accused persons have been identified as Mulpai Joshua and Membe William. Both are Zambian nationals.
According to officials, the accused duo was intercepted at the departure forecourt in Terminal-III of the Indira Gandhi International Airport this morning after their behaviour raised suspicion among the security personnel.
During the security check, about 5.35 kg of heroin worth Rs 22 crore was recovered from there bag. The two had landed here from Dubai, officials said, adding the duo has been handed over to the customs authorities for further investigation.
