Talking to ETV Bharat, Yogendra Yadav alleged that the political parties are trying to divert voters' attention from real issues.

"Attempts are being made by the political parties to hijack the general elections as they are trying to shield themselves behind the name of martyrs and the men in uniform, But the real issues like unemployment, Agrarian crisis, environment, health and education were not addressed," he said.

The campaign has been simultaneously launched in all the states and will continue till the poll date.

"We want voters to ask questions to these politicians that why should they vote for them? what they have done in these years and what they plan to do next when they come to power? we want them to choose their candidate wisely and not let any political party to misguide them in the name of martyrs and men in uniform," said Yogendra Yadav.

The Swaraj Abhiyan leader also said that his political outfit is not offering any alternative for now but in future they might be giving one. At present, they are only working on bringing the real issues to the forfront.
