New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Centre to pay the remaining amount under 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP) within three weeks and adjourned the case for hearing again on 27th September.
The bench led by Justice DY Chandrachud was hearing a petition filed by veterans seeking the release of enhanced amount.
Today, the judges noted that the government has already disbursed Rs 10,700 crore and it cannot be said that they have not done anything.
Government has said that they will equalise in every 5 years.
