Police reunite two minor girls with their families

A PCR van of Delhi Police helped two minor girls, who had stepped away from their locality while playing, in reuniting them with their families. The PCR van took the girls and went around announcing about them. Their families approached the police van and they were handed over to them after due process.

New Delhi: Two minor girls, who stepped away from their homes in Dwarka while playing, were reunited with their families by the Delhi Police.

DCP Sharat Sinha said a phone call was received by the police personnel that two girls - aged four and seven - have been found on the road in Bharat Vihar area of Dwarka.

The caller informed the police that the girls were crying and not able to tell anything about their address. A Police Control Room (PCR) van reached the area and started looking for their families in the area.

As the PCR went around announcing about the two minor girls, their family members approached the van and the girls immediately recognized their mothers and others.

The girls were then handed over to their families after the due process.
