New Delhi: Even after seven years of the Nirbhaya incident, her mother claims that justice has remained elusive.
Talking with ETV Bharat, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi has demanded the execution of the accused as soon as possible.
According to her mother, the case has been dismissed by the Supreme Court twice and the mercy petition has not reached the President yet.
She has appealed to the Central and Delhi governments extend help in their respective jurisdictions.
On the night of December 16, 2012, a brutal incident occurred in the national capital, an incident which shook the whole country. A woman was brutally raped and murdered in the streets of Delhi.
Following the issue, various protests happened in various parts of India and the Supreme Court passed new and strict rules against the rape.
