New Delhi: A fire broke out on the sixth floor of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL ) Building at Kidwai Bhawan on Janpath road here on Tuesday, a Delhi Fire Service official said.
No injuries have been reported, he said.
The blaze was reported around 10 am after which 15 fire tenders were pressed into service. The fire has been completely extinguished, Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service, said.
However, the cooling process is still underway and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the official said.

On November 12, a major fire broke out at a cloth shop and godown in Delhi’s garment market Gandhi Nagar in Shahdara district.
Similarly, a massive fire was reported from DSIDC Narela in Outer Delhi in a shoe factory.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
A total of 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The black smoke billowing out of the multi-storeyed building could be seen from far away.
The factory manufactures PVC soles for shoes.
