Vasant Vihar (Delhi): Amid nationwide lockdown in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, a reporter of ETV Bharat on Monday distributed food to the poor who are struggling to earn a single meal a day.
On Sunday, when a reporter of ETV Bharat Shehnawaz Khan reached Vasant Vihar to cover the news of 'the impact of lockdown in the area', some people urged the reporter to arrange food for their survival.

Taking the cognizance of the matter, as many as 1500 food packets were distributed to the daily wage workers and rickshaw pullers with the help of Delhi Police.
Also, the labourers have been assured by the SHO that the arrangements will soon be made to send them back to their native places.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, SHO said, "Police is not only enforcing lockdown by working round the clock but is also helping poor by helping them in getting food and ration."
"We are delivering ration to people at their doorstep. Medicine is also being delivered at the doorstep to old aged people. The cops will continue to work tirelessly to help the needy," he said
Later, the residents who got the food packets greeted ETV Bharat for their noble work towards humanity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an unprecedented three-week lockdown - the world's largest - which came into effect on March 25 to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
But the decision has stung millions of India's poor, leaving many hungry and forcing jobless migrant labourers to flee cities and walk hundreds of kilometres to their native villages.
