Amid coronavirus pandemic, the duty-bound policemen have been working for extended hours under the scorching heat.
This 'humane gesture' has, to some extent, brought some relief to their hard work. The Dwarka District Police distributed umbrellas to the personnel working across the stations under its purview.
According to Dwarka's Deputy Commissioner of Police, the measures were to safeguard those on outdoor duty from dehydration, owing to the rise in mercury levels.
Besides this, a yoga session was also conducted for the officials, recently.
For those posted in containment zones, an immunity-boosting medicine - Ayush Kwath recommended by the Ministry of Ayush, was administered.
