Durg: A two-month old baby girl has died due to the negligence of hospital administration in Chhattisgarh, according to the victim's family.
The infant died in an ambulance without any treatment in Chhattisgarh as the hospital staff confused her age with another person. The girl's health deteriorated on the night of April 25. Her family took her to the district hospital around 10 pm. The corona test came positive and treatment was started.
As there was no improvement in the condition of the infant, the district hospital referred her to a hospital in Mekahara in Raipur.
However, after reaching Mekahara, treatment was delayed for several hours over confusion with the infant's age.
