Narayanpur: During a search operation, the soldiers of DRG, STF and ITBP apprehended four Naxalites who were involved in planting IEDs and torching vehicles in Chhattisgarh.
Under the direction of senior police officers, the soldiers of the District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF) and Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) are running anti-Naxal operations in Narayanpur district.

During this campaign, four Naxalites were apprehended from a forest near Irakbhatti village under the Kohkameta police station.
The Naxalites, identified as Sonaru Anchla (22), Fagu Ram Anchla (35), Sonu Ram Anchla (45) and Mangtu Ram Potai (35), are active members of the 'Janatana Sarkar' group of Maoists, reports said.
The security forces have also recovered a muzzle-loading gun, two detonators and a bundle of electric wires, according to reports.
