Raipur: BJP MP from Chhattisgarh's Kanker Mohan Mandavi has sparked yet another controversy on the Hathras case on Monday by passing an objectionable statement. He claimed that the Congress leaders are protesting against the Hathras incident which is artificial while the BJP is demonstrating on the Keshkal issue which is real.

Amid the accusation, the question arises as to who has given MP the right to pass judgement on the authenticity of the Hathras case and is it ideal for a political identity like him to pass such derogatory remarks on the sensitive case of rape.

Meanwhile, the matter is being investigated by CBI and Uttar Pradesh government has also formed an SIT to probe the case.

The Congress, however, took a dig at the Kanker MP and has started retaliating on his slanderous statement over the crime against women.
