Padma Shri Shyam Sharma makes his paintings on COVID-19 awareness

Padma Shri Shyam Sharma has created a stunning drawing on the corona pandemic. He has titled this drawing as 'Redbird with huge beak'.

Patna: Well-known and best-featured artist Padma Shri Shyam Sharma has created a stunning drawing on the corona pandemic. He has titled this drawing as 'Redbird with huge beak'.

Shyam Sharma has done a whole series of drawings on the 'corona transition'. He has made six large-size drawings under the title 'Redbird with huge beak'.

Apart from this, there are 16 pictures of small size and Sharma is giving the final touch to them. The exhibition of these pictures will also be held at Patna Art College.

79-year-old Sharma, who retired as Principal of Patna Art College, has worked for six to eight hours daily to prepare these paintings.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Syam Sharma said, "Painting is a hobby and the painter is always attached with the society in every sorrow and happiness. In such a gloomy situation, fear of this novel coronavirus has been gripped among the people. So, I have tried to explain that fear through the picture, which will make people psychologically strong to fight against the deadly coronavirus."

It is said that a red bird with a long beak in China is very dangerous. In his drawing, Sharma has tremendously picturized the bird and signified his creativity through the message.

Notably, the world-famous painter, Pablo Picasso whose painting 'Black Cat' at the end of the Second World War is still in the minds of the people. Similarly, the whole world is struggling with Corona, in such a situation, Shyam Sharma who has made the series of pictures will also be remembered.
