Patna: After receiving a continuous complaint of negligence in Patna's COVID hospital, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey on Thursday visited Nalanda Medical College and Hospital and inspected the condition of the hospital treating COVID patients.
During the inspection, one of the patients told about the bad arrangements and the lacking facilities in the hospital.
Earlier, while talking to the media, Mangal Pandey said that the Bihar government is taking full care of the corona infected patients.
"I too have reached the hospital only to know the condition of the hospitals. I will meet the patients and get information about their situation and whatever will be lacking in the hospital system, efforts will be made to improve it," said the state Health Minister.
A coronavirus suspect from Nalanda district of Bihar died on Wednesday after Nalanda Medical College and Hospital kept him waiting for three long hours despite his serious health condition.
Later, because of this carelessness, the Bihar government fired the hospital Superintendent Nirmal Kumar Sinha who was found guilty for the incident.
