Local people storm police station in Assam

A group of people stormed a police station in Nagaon city after police seized a scooter because its owner did not have documents for the vehicle.

Nagaon: Morikolong police station in Assam's Nagaon city was attacked by local people on Friday night after the police seized a scooter as the owner did not have valid documents for the vehicle.

A gang led by a young man named Chaddek Ahmed attacked policemen and damaged vehicles at the police station.

Reportedly, around hundreds of people raided the Morikolong police station in the attack.
