IIT graduate from Assam works as Rapido driver

Bikramjit Kakati, an IIT Graduate, works as an assistant professor in the Dept of Mechanical engineering. Parallelly, he also works with the Rapido Scooty Service as a driver.

Assam: Assam-based Bikramjit Kakati, currently working with Assam Don Bosco University as an assistant professor in the Dept of Mechanical engineering, parallelly also works as a driver in the Rapido Scooter Service.

Kakati holds an engineering degree and a PhD degree from IIT Guwahati.

Kakati's story comes across as motivational to many in Assam as his passion for work has no limit.

Right from his student days, he had to work hard as he had no money for his studies

During his 10+2 education, he operated a small tea stall to meet his expenses.

After Completing his 10+2, he pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

At the same time, he worked with a Showroom to cover for his educational expenses.

With a PhD, he became an Assistant Professor at the Assam Don Bosco University, where he parallelly started working with the Rapido Scooty Service.
