Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh) : The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has once again served a notice to Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, who is accused in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. In the notices issued on Monday, it has been stated that he has to attend the CBI office in Hyderabad on Tuesday. These notices have been issued under section 160 of CrPC.
The CBI, which has already questioned Avinash Reddy many times, has not continued with its investigation for the last 20 days. The MP is already in Hyderabad and advance arrangements have been made for his visit to Pulivendula and Lingala Mandals of the YSR district in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday morning. After cancelling these programmes, the YSRCP MP's office passed on this information to the party cadres about Mr Avinash going to Hyderabad for CBI questioning.
The CBI has clearly stated the role and involvement of Avinash Reddy in the Viveka murder case in its counter to his anticipatory bail petition in the court. It has been stated that Avinash Reddy, his father YS Bhaskara Reddy, and Devi Reddy Sivashankara Reddy were involved in a huge conspiracy in the Viveka murder case.
