Police seize huge amount of cash, gold in Kurnool

An amount of Rs 3.50 crores was seized by the police from a private transport bus at Panchalingala check post in Kurnool district. During the raids, Rs 55.71 lakh rupees worth of gold was seized from another bus.

A person named Chetan Kumar was arrested by the police in connection with the case.

The accused told the police that the seized cash belonged to a medical college in Chennai.

The cash was handed over to the Income-tax department by the police.
