Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu will be fielding his son Nara Lokesh from the Mangalagiri assembly constituency in the upcoming elections.
Lokesh, who is also the state's IT and Panchayat Raj Minister, will be contesting for the first time from the assembly constituency, currently held by the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.
After much speculation, the decision was announced by the party, today, much to the elation of the party cadres. Ganji Chiranjeevi is currently in-charge of TDP in the Mangalagiri constituency.
