Jana Sena releases 3rd list of candidates for LS, Assembly polls

Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena party, which is seeking to emerge as a potent third front in Andhra Pradesh, released its third list of candidates for 13 Assembly seats and one Lok Sabha seat. The state goes for simultaneous polling on April 11.

Amaravati: Popular telugu actor Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party, which is making its political debut this year, released its third list of candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh.

The list included 13 names for the Assembly seats, and a solitary candidate for the Lok Sabha polls.

Seeking to emerge as a potent third force in the state, the Jana Sena has teamed up with the Bahujan Samaj Party, the CPI and the CPI-M for the April 11 polls to Lok Sabha and the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

The Jana Sena will contest 140 out of 175 Assembly and 18 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats.

BSP has been given three Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly seats, CPI and CPI-M two Lok Sabha and seven assembly seats each, as part of the agreement.
