Guntur: The flood in Andhra Pradesh has wreaked havoc on the residents of the state. Not just the living but the dead are also suffering because of it.
After the death of a man named Dharma Rao in the Guntur district of the state, his dead body could not be transferred to the crematorium for his last rites.
The floodwater had created a large river in between the crematorium and Dharma Rao's village.
As a result of which, a make-shift raft had to be made to transfer the dead body.
The family and relatives of the deceased, however, could not attend the funeral because of the water.
So they witnessed the last rites from the other side of the water body.
