Geneva: Roger Federer recovered from a set down to beat Nick Kyrgios 6-7, 7-5, 10-7 to give Team Europe a 5-3 lead in the second day of the Laver Cup on Saturday.
Early in the morning, John Isner defeated Alexander Zverev 6-7, 6-4, 10-1 for Team USA to level the score to 3-3 after one hour and 37 seconds.
Federer gave Team Europe once again the lead after beating the Australian in one hour and 53 minutes.
Rafael Nadal against Milos Raonic and a doubles match between Nadal/Stefanos Tsitsipas and Kyrgios/Jack Sock will complete the second day of the Laver Cup.
The winner will need to reach 13 points to win the tournament.
