Budapest: Hours before defending champions Portugal's Euro 2020 campaign opener against Hungary at the Ferenc Puskás Stadium, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken social media by storm as the star footballer removed cola bottles from the press conference and put a water bottle in prime position.

Ronaldo, 36, picked up the cola bottles placed before him and kept them in a bottle case and flaunted the water bottle saying "agua" (water in Portuguese). While picking up the water bottle he signalled that it is the most important thing, not the soft drink.
The pre-match press conference was also attended by Portugal's Euro 2016 winning manager Fernando Santos. However, Santosh didn't pay much attention's Ronaldo's bizarre act. Since then, the video of the press conference has gone viral on social media platforms.
Incidentally, Coca-Cola is one of the sponsors for Euro 2020 and it has to be seen whether UEFA takes any action against the Juventus star or not.

While Ronaldo will play his 176th match today, he will have a more tough task in hand when Portugal will take on France and Germany in Group F in the next matches.
The five-time Ballon d'Or champion, Ronaldo, is the first player to feature in five European Championships. He has also cleared the rumours of his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.
“I’ve been playing at the highest level for many years so this doesn’t phase me at all, if I were 18 or 19 maybe I’d have some sleepless nights but I’m 36 years old and whatever comes next will be for the best, whether that’s staying at Juve or getting a transfer,” he said.
“The crucial thing now is the Euros. It’s my fifth Euros but for me it’s like my first so I want to start on the right foot, we want to play a good match and have only good thoughts in our first match to our last,” he added.
