Barcelona: FC Barcelona attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is set to stay at the club for the 2019-20 season.
The Brazilian international had earlier been linked with an exit from the defending La Liga champions this summer, with reports claiming he would be used in a player-plus-cash deal to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou.
However, the offer was dismissed by the French Club and now Coutinho looks set to stay at Camp Nou with a deadlock reached over a potential deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
Coutinho was also linked with a return to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Tottenham both interested in a season-long loan move.
However, there are reports that Ernesto Valverde wants to retain the 27-year-old whom Barca signed in January 2018 for a 105 million pounds deal from Liverpool.
