Except for his half-century, no other Sri Lanka batsmen couldn't really manage to stay at the crease for too long with Sadeera Samarawickrama, Angelo Perera and captain Dasun Shanaka scoring 12, 13 and 12 respectively.

Amongst the Pakistani bowlers, Mohammad Amir was exceptional as he claimed three wickets giving away 27 runs in four overs. Imad Wasim (1/18)) and Wahab Riaz (1/26) also played a key role in helping Pakistan restricting Sri Lanka to a decent 147 for 7.

However, in reply, Pakistan's chase never looked convincing as they lost opener Fakhar Zaman (0) on the very first delivery of their innings off Kasun Rajitha's bowling.

Thereafter Babar Azam (27) and Haris Sohail (52) tried to salvage their chase amassing 76 runs for the second wicket, but their promising partnership was snapped by Lahiru Kumara and Wanindu Hasaranga as the duo pierced through Pakistan middle order to bring the hosts down to 111/6 in the 18th over.

While Hasaranga dismissed Haris Sohail (52), Sarfaraz Ahmed (17) and Asif Ali (1), Kumara got prized scalps of Babar Azam (27) and Imad Wasim (3).

With 28 runs required off the penultimate over, right-arm medium pacer Lahiru Madushanka held his nerves and conceded 14 runs as Sri Lanka eventually restricted Pakistan to 134 for 6 in given 20 overs and clinched the series 3-0.
