London: The England and Wales Cricket Board on Tuesday announced that all 20 players and 11 management personnel in the Pakistan touring party to the United Kingdom have tested negative for COVID-19 since their arrival in the country.
ECB confirmed that their last test for English training camps and management, which was conducted on Monday, also came negative. So far, ECB have tested their players and staff three times already.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have cleared six more players -- Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hasnain, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman --to join green shirts in the UK after recording two successive negative coronavirus tests.
"All the six players were re-tested on Monday, following their first negative test on June 26," the PCB said in a statement.
However, the other four players -- Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Haider Ali and Haris Rauf -- will stay in the country after failing their latest test.
PCB have asserted that the four players out of ten, who initially tested positive for coronavirus, will not be allowed to travel to England until they have recorded two consecutive negative tests.
England is hosting Pakistan for three Tests and three Twenty20 internationals in the UK, which are slated to be held in August. However, ECB are yet to announced the exact dates for Pakistan's tour of England.
Pakistan squad reached the United Kingdom on Sunday as announced by ECB and they have started a 14-day mandatory quarantine period.
Ahead of West Indies' tour of England, a 30-member England squad and support staff are currently in a bio-secure training camp at the Ageas Bowl.
