Hyderabad: Alzarri Joseph created history in his first match of Indian Premier League by clinching six wickets by giving away just 12 runs in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Making his debut in the cash-rich league for Mumbai Indians Joseph helped his team to win its third match of the season.

Joseph picked six wickets to record best ever IPL figure in 11 years of history of IPL. Earlier Rajasthan Royals Sohail Tanveer held this record when he took 6 wickets for 14 runs in the inaugural edition of the IPL against CSK.

The 22-year-old Joseph became the 2nd youngest player to have picked 5 wickets haul in IPL only behind J Unadkat.
The West Indian pacer also registered the best figures on debut in IPL earlier the record was under the name of Andrew Tye who picked hattrick on debut in 2017.
Joseph was selected by the Mumbai Indians as a replacement for injured Adam Milne. He rose to limelight after the heroics of the U19 World Cup of 2016 that Windies won beating the Boys in Blue.
Joseph's performance has boosted the confidence of MI as their bowling looks more lethal.
