Watch: Sameer Verma, Intanon and Sung won the first round of Thailand Open

Bangkok: No.3 seed Anders Antonsen advanced to the second round of Toyota Thailand Open after beating local player Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk in two games on Tuesday.

Sameer Verma of India was also through to the next round after coming back with two games and upset No.8 seed Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia after 74 minutes fight on the court, 18-21, 27-25, 21-19.
