Kuala Lumpur: Indian Shuttler HS Prannoy on Thursday bowed out of ongoing Malaysia Masters after suffering a defeat in the second round of the match at the hands of Japan's Kento Momota 14-21, 16-21 in a match that lasted for 45 minutes.

Prannoy had qualified for the second round after defeating Japan's Kanta Tsuneyama 21-9, 21-17 in a match that lasted for 34 minutes.

On the other hand, Sania Nehwal and PV Sindhu cruised to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
