Hyderabad: Vicky Kaushal has some very interesting projects lined up for next. From an untitled project with Manushi Chillar to playing the titular role in Sardar Udham Singh, Vicky's slate is a mixed bag of unique stories. The National award-winning actor, however, is most excited for The Immortal Ashwatthama, his debut superhero outing.

Vicky was last seen in Bhanu Pratap Singh's Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship earlier this year and will be back on screen with Sardar Udham Singh in which he plays the titular revolutionary. Speaking to a leading daily, Vicky revealed that the film is in post-production as of now.
The actor utilised lockdown time to build the required physic for Aditya Dhar's The Immortal Ashwatthama. Vicky said that he is looking forward to reuniting with Aditya as well as Meghna Gular for Sam Manekshaw's biopic.

"I’m currently prepping for The Immortal Ashwatthama. It’s my first superhero film and I’m looking forward to that journey to start,” he continues, "For Sam Manekshaw, we’re trying to bring something fresh to the table, so yes I’m excited about that as well," quipped Vicky.

The Sanju star who started off with indie film like Masaan has also shared that he would like to continue the streak of collaborating with "good storytellers" in future.
Kaushal also has Karan Johar's period drama Takht in his kitty which traces the relationship between Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and his brother Dara Shukoh. Vicky, who plays Aurangzeb in the film will be seen sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor.
