Mumbai: It has been over a month since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise and the Mumbai police have been investigating the actor’s sudden death. Recently, director Rumi Jaffery was too summoned to the Bandra police station to record his official statement.
Besides revealing the late actor's battle with depression in November 2019, the filmmaker reportedly also revealed information about the Kedarnath starrers' relationship with his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty during the investigation.
If reports are to be believed, Rumi told the officials that both Sushant and Rhea were 'made for each other'. In fact, Rhea was always with Sushant to support him and continued to take care of him during his alleged depression.
He also shared the details of his last chat with the late actor where he had tried to know the actor's state of mind.

Alongside, reportedly, the filmmaker also told the police about his upcoming film starring Sushant and Rhea in the leads and how excited he was to begin its shooting by May 2020 in London, which later got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic.
Meanwhile, the police have recorded statements of several people in Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise case. Mukesh Chhabra, Shanoo Sharma, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sanjana Sanghi and others too have recorded their statement.
Sushant's last film Dil Bechara got released on July 24 and has garnered massive love and response from each corner of the globe.
