Mumbai: Actor and fitness icon Mandira Bedi has welcomed a new member in her family of three. She took to social media to announce that she and her filmmaker husband Raj Kaushal have adopted a four-year-old girl child in July this year.
Mandira, who already have a son, Vir with her husband Raj, is elated to welcome the daughter she always yearned for.
On Sunday, Mandira shared a picture perfect family portrait on Instagram, and wrote, "She has come to us, Like a blessing from above. Our little girl, Tara. Four years and a bit. With eyes that sparkle like stars. Sister to her Vir. Welcoming her home. With open arms and pure love. Grateful, thankful. blessed. Tara Bedi Kaushal. Became a part of our family on 28th July 2020."

On a related note, Bedi, who is also an entrepreneur, earlier said that society always judges a woman if she has a successful career after marriage and motherhood. At an event last year, Mandira had said that people looked differently at her for delaying pregnancy.
Mandira, who is married to Raj for two decades now, mentioned that while facing the struggle in her career was not easy, her constant support system made her deal with all obstacles.
