Hyderabad: Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up to kickstart the shooting of Hindi adaption of Tamil film, Kolamaavu Kokila in Punjab. The team will begin shooting for the film on January 9.

According to reports, Janhvi will be shooting for the Kolamaavu Kokila Hindi remake in Punjab. The actor will wrap the film in a start-to-finish schedule. Janhvi will be reprising the role of Nayanthara from the original which will not be a glamorous role but a meatier one. To shield the team from COVID-19, the makers are planning to make a bio-bubble throughout filming.

Kapoor will be seen with minimal makeup and wearing salwar-kurtas and braids for the role of a simple North Indian girl coming from a middle-class family. The original was a female-centric dark comedy and had no romantic track for Nayanthara. For Hindi, which will not be a frame-to-frame adaptation of the original, the makes may add or avoid few things to make it appealing to the Hindi market.
