Mumbai: Bollywood actor Anupam Kher's mother Dulari Kher has been admitted to city's Kokilaben Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. Actor's brother Raju Kher and his family too have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
While his mother is hospitalised, Anupam's brother and his family have quarantined themselves at home.
Kher on Sunday morning took to his Twitter handle to share the news with his followers. The 65-year-old actor said besides his mother, brother Raju and his family too have tested COVID-19 positive. Actor's test report is, however, negative.

"This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found COVID-19 + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. My brother, bhabhi & niece inspite of being careful have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative. @mybmc is informed.!," wrote the actor alongside the video.

On a related note, Amitabh Bachchan is reported to be in a "stable" condition with "mild symptoms" after testing positive for coronavirus on Saturday. The Don actor and his actor son Abhishek Bachchan have been admitted in the isolation unit at Mumbai's Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital. The actor has confirmed that he will keep updating via Twitter.
