Mumbai: Actor Ankita Lokhande wished for a speedy recovery of her father Shashikant Lokhande, who is currently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
The actor took to social media and shared the news with her fans and followers.
"Get well soon paaa," wrote Ankita along with a heart emoji.
Taking to Instagram stories, the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actor also posted a picture of her father resting on a bed at the hospital. Though the reason for his admission at the hospital is still unknown.
Recently, Ankita, former girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput, locked horns with VJ and anchor Shibani Dandekar, who alleged that the former wanted "two minutes of fame," therefore, she encouraged the "witch-hunt" against Rhea Chakraborty.

However, Ankita countered Shibani’s allegations saying, "I have been an ACTOR in Television & Bollywood for the past 17 years & now, when I am trying to support justice for my late friend, a view has been expressed that I am seeking JUSTICE because I need 2 seconds of fame and cheap publicity! I cannot fathom as to why any person would take such a stand. Is it because I have worked mostly on television and not in Bollywood? Is that why you would take a stand for the person with whom you have had a relationship for almost a decade?"
Extending support to Ankita, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Tripathi wrote: "Don’t even bother to clarify my dear. We are here for a cause and that is to know the whole truth, and we will keep pursuing that regardless! #WarriorsRoar4SSR."
