Actor Kaushik Sen meets JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh in Delhi

Following the tragic attack on the students of JNU, actor and father of the National Award winner Riddhi Sen met JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh in the university campus in the national capital today.

Kolkata: Kaushik Sen, father of the National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen on Friday met Aishe Ghosh, the Student Union President of Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi.

The actor and playwright also met other students and discussed about the ongoing critical situation.

Many personalities from the Bengali film industry and also from Bollywood have opened up about the ghastly JNU attack.

Celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Tapasi Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhaskar, Genelia D'Souza, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Mahesh Bhat and many others have raised their voice against the incident.

Kaushik Sen, Riddhi Sen, Anupam Roy, Anjan Dutt, Rishi Chakraborty and many other artists took to the streets of Kolkata to protest against the incident.

Sen had earlier slammed the attack on the students which took place on January 5, 2020.

On Sunday, several masked assailants attacked the student of JNU including Aishe Ghosh which left the Student Union President with multiple injuries.

University teachers and teachers were also thrashed with metal rods. Aishe was reportedly hit with an iron rod which resulted in a deep wound on her forehead.

Aishe suffered heavy blood loss. Nearly five sutures were done on her by the doctors.
