Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan on Saturday took some time out of his busy schedule to visit Harmandir Sahib, ahead of the release of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha.

The actor who is all excited for his forthcoming release has sought blessings at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab.

The actor revealed that he visited the temple for the third time.

The Taare Zameen Par actor was seen in a casual attire sporting a complete bearded look.

Bollywood's perfectionist Aamir Khan who is playing the role of a Sikh in his upcoming project has gotten into the skin of the character as usual.

The actor, who was last seen in the Thugs of Hindostan, is pairing up with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha.

The film happens to be a remake of the 1994 American film titled Forrest Gump.

Helmed by Advait Chandan, the comedy-drama is bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions along with Viacom18 Motion Pictures.

The film Laal Singh Chaddha will mark the third team-up of the 54-year-old actor and the Heroine star Kareena Kapoor after a hiatus of seven years.

The duo had earlier given hits such as 3 idiots and Talaash which received critical appreciation.

The film was officially announced by Aamir on March 14, 2019, on the occasion of his birthday.

The movie is reportedly shot in Punjab. The buzz took over the media with a storm after he unveiled the teaser poster followed by his look from the movie.

The movie is slated to hit the big screen on December 25, 2020, on the day of Christmas.
