Watch: Cops rescue 80-yr-old from well

Two police constables rescued an 80-year old woman, who had accidentally fallen into a well, from drowning. The incident was reported from Renigunta Mandal in Chittoor district. Subbamma, who was strolling in her agricultural land, slipped into the well. While no villager came to her rescue, two police constables -- Sivakumar and Mahesh -- threw a charpai tied to ropes into the well. Subbamma, with the help of a pipe, managed to adjust herself on the charpai after which she was pulled to safety. Tirupati Urban SP Appala Naidu acknowledged the bravery of the two constables and rewarded them.
