MIS-C a bigger threat to children than Covid-19: Expert

There's concern after reports of children being affected by Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome amid the pandemic. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Dr Rajesh Kumar, a renowned paediatrician in Jharkhand said that MIS-C poses a greater threat than Covid-19. While most cases of MIS-C are not fatal, they are worrisome because they affect multiple organs including the heart, liver and kidneys, he said.
