Amid growing concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus, people across the world trying to spread awareness about the spread of the virus in every possible way. Similarly, in an attempt at raising awareness about the importance of the humble face mask, a restaurant in Madurai created the Face Mask Parotta - it's basically just a 'parotta' but in the shape of a face mask. It has also made coronavirus shaped rava dosa and corona bonda which are getting the eyes of everyone around. The innovation was ideated by KL Kumar, owner of Temple City, one of the biggest restaurant chains in Madurai. The novel idea came after the district saw a major increase in COVID-19 infections. According to reports, two parottas or one set is priced at Rs 50.
