King cobra rescued in Karnataka's Kodagu district

A King cobra was captured in Bittangala of Kodagu district in Karnataka. The fourteen-foot-long reptile was found hiding in the house of daily wage workers in Bittangala. Reptile expert Gagan who arrived the spot took nearly an hour to secure the king cobra and later released it inside Makkuta reserve forest along the Kerala-Karnataka border
