A military standoff between India and China over the disputed border has escalated into violent clashes that has left at least 20 Indian troops dead. Tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours escalated in May in India's Ladakh region. In an exclusive interview with the ETV Bharat Assistant News Editor Anup Sharma and ETV Bharat's senior reporter Pranab Kumar Das, former Indian Air Force officer Mohonto Panging talked about the border issues of two Asian superpowers. Discussing the issue, Panging said that India must resort to diplomacy while tackling with neighbours like China and the face-off should have been handled more tactfully and diplomatically to avoid escalation.
