WATCH: Hirebagewadi village corona-free after 64 days, villagers celebrate

Hirebagewadi village in Belgaum taluka which was once a hotbed of COVID-19 cases is now coronavirus free. The people of the village celebrated this happiness by burning firecrackers. The village was sealed on April 3 after the first case was reported. The village was sealed till June 6. Not a single case was reported for the past 28 days following which the lockdown was lifted. Life is slowly limping back to normal. All the shops are being cleaned and sanitised. The villagers also maintain social distancing in the markets and elsewhere.
